prototype tamagotchi sprites found in sengoku turb F.I.D

Someone poke me at some point to translate the bits about her contributions to Tamagotchi development from Akihiro Yokoi's memoir...apparently she's quite the character

prototype tamagotchi sprites found in sengoku turb F.I.D

I did some reading up on the game both on qnep's site and bio_100%'s, and it appears to be a pure Action RPG based on "movement" that has you pitting a large army of cats (up to 37, apparently) against a huge army of sheep. There's no hint of virtual pet raising elements whatsoever...unless you...

    Tamagotchi Metaverse?

There's literally no reason to make a Tamagotchi Metaverse. Do you really want to clean up poop in VR?

Should I get the Tama Smart? (and also where)

Agreeing with bunbun that Amazon.co.jp is the way to go for the Smart. I translated the manual into English early on so you can review the features and decide if it's something you really want: Gotchi Garden - Tamagotchi Smart Manual

    New collector here :D

(^[ ( o) ( o) ] ^( <- Masktchi? V4 and V4.5 are basically the exact same programming, it's just a question of character appearance! V4 uses traditional Tamagotchi character designs, while 4.5 uses alternate forms that are a bit wackier. (Mametchi with a tail? Kuchipatchi with a horn??) They're...

    New collector here :D

Okay, okay, you convinced me. MASKTCHI SQUAD. For Connections, versions 1-3 are closest to your standard Tamagotchi play experience, 4-4.5 integrate careers and skill traits, 5 has you raising a full family at once, and 5.5-6 have you managing either celebrity or rock star careers while keeping...

    New collector here :D

Welcome! (Part of me wants to swap my avatar to match my Tumblr, but then we'd have 3 Masktchis running around...!) Sounds like your collection is off to a great start. Solid picks all around! I'm running the Pac-Man Nano right now and the sounds really push it over the top!

    Happy 40th Anniversary, Commodore 64!

(Am I the only one who finds it more than a little ironic that such a complaint has surfaced on a site dedicated to what many consider a long-dead 90s fad?)

What are the 5 levels of friendship on the Pix?

Snacks! Going out! Making things! Playing games! Taking pictures! You really have to spam them with all the activities to get the friendship level to max out.

How often do yall play with your tamas in school if u do?

Oh my gosh, I'm also of the generation that saw Tamagotchis banned in school! Takes me back! Now that work has calmed down a tiny bit I can probably start raising them again. They make great fidget toys during long video meetings where no one can see my hands :gozarutchi: If I'm at the office...

    Getting Tamagotchi smart cheap

Amazon Japan is pretty good about shipping all over the world for reasonable prices. You might consider giving it a try!

How long will the Pix remember with the batteries out?

I put my Pix away for several months and it always picks right back up where I left off before taking the batteries out, so you should be good!
