I have two fakes, and the farthest I've ever got them is to the teenager stage. Mine have the same characters as the V1. They kept dying since I can't pause them, but I might use them again soon since I've been bored lately, and hopefully they won't die.

It's fake because the package says ABC instead of Bandai.

Has anyone actually checked to see if there is a debug button under the black thing? If not, then anyone who already broke their Music Star should try to remove the black thing to see if there is a debug button under it or not.

I got the bundle today at Target. It costs the price of a regular Tamagotchi, and it's in the section where you normally find Tamagotchis. Pictures: [1] [2] [3] [4] I'm in California by the way, so it's out in California! :) I'm not sure if it's the first or second movie though...

I remember getting my first Tamagotchi. It was a V1 that I got at my birthday party in 2004. I remember that my friends kept asking me if I wanted one, and I was just thinking "uh, ok...?" because I had no idea what a Tamagotchi was. I thought it was some type of stuffed animal or something...

I didn't know they could evolve during the night. I've been leaving my tamagotchis unpaused overnight for years and that's never happened to me, and I've been using versions 1-5. Maybe it's a glitch.
