I have an original US Tama (1997) and I just got new batteries for it, the egg is there, but it won't hatch, it's been almost 20 min. I've restarted it once, and I've pushed all three buttons. Can anyone help?

Hello- I'm new to tama talk. I'm not new to tamagotchis though, I had one when they first came out, and now have two connections. I love my tamagotchis and am glad to find a place to talk about them. ravenhawk.
