What to do with tama at school/work?

There are 2 options that I use most which I think are pretty useful.
The first is to mute your tama by holding down button a (left side) and pressing c (right side) until you hear a beep sound.
The other option is to pause it completely. On the clock screen, press buttons an and c as you did muting your tama. To turn it back on just press c again.
There are also other ways but I find these easiest

i know you mentioned you have a p1, but if you ever decide to get a newer model (or if you already have one), many new tamas have a babysitter function.
 
I mute mine so that I can have an eye on it every now and then even though I’m supposed to be doing something else. If not that, I just take the batteries out, then put them in and continue. Hope this helps. :)
