when do tamagotchis evolve? i need to know the cycle

For the original Tamagotchis Gen 1/2.
The Tamagotchi starts at the baby stage
Then after about 1 hour the Tamagotchi will turn into the toddler/child stage.
After around 24 hours (I think) it will turn into a teenager (The teen stage last 24 to 72 hours depending on release)
After 24 to 72 hours it will turn into an adult
(Hopefully this helps)
