Things have gotten better. Mom is off her medication and is back to normal. She had to get a bunch of screws and things put in her leg, but now she's in a cast and hopefully it will heal alright. That's a big relief to me.
I've generally been in better spirits the past couple of days. I'm hoping that I am out of the depressed state I was in.
Last night Emily and I went to the midnight release of Pokemon Sun and Moon. I had a $50 gift card that I won a couple years before so I made good use of it then! We both got Sun. Jared got Moon, so we can play together and trade when I see him next week. The aggravating thing was that after I got home, I wanted to start playing but couldn't find my 3DS anywhere. I was probably making an awful amount of noise digging under my bed while my roommate was sleeping...but I couldn't find it. I was so mad. This morning I found it in my backpack. I don't know why I didn't think to look there. Anyway, I'm liking the game so far. I was super pumped to get a Primarina and name her Sirenia because of course when you see an elegant mermaid Pokemon you just know its going to be female right? Well, no. My Popplio is unfortunately a male...so my perfect name was no longer perfect. I came up with the name Locharem, but I'm not completely satisfied. It sounds masculine and is inspired by a body of water (loch) so I guess it's fine. I just can't imagine Primarina as a male though. Come on, it's a mermaid. I'll stop ranting about Pokemon now
I have some rather unfortunate news. It has been a sad day for tamas. I lost both Ginji and Masukutchi today. They were both 17 years old and in perfect health when they left. I really wish Ginji could live longer, because I grew very fond of him while he was here. I would venture to say that he has become my all time favorite tamagotchi character. I miss him very much, indeed. I think I'm going to have to get him back really soon. I was sad to see Masukutchi go as well. I love both of them. Good thing I managed to have a photo shoot with Ginji before he left. So, here is his feature, in loving memory.
In other news, I only have three more West Side performances (yay). I'll be happy when it's over. It has been a huge time commitment. My recital is lurking ever nearer so I'll be glad to have the extra practice time.
It is 74 degrees (F) here today, which is totally absurd. Go ahead and tell me climate change isn't real. This has to be record breaking. I took advantage of the weather though, and played Pokemon outside with Mimitchi and the twins. I think they enjoyed themselves

Here is the last group picture I got of everyone. They were watching me work on reeds.
While I'm definitely sad about the loss, I'm happy that Mimitchi and the twins are still here They are extremely demanding...Mimitchi is 17 and the twins are 13. I expect that they will be around for a while longer. I'm not sure what I'm going to hatch next, or when. I think I want to start my Japanese P2, and try to get Ginji back on my green tama. My Morinos will be here soon though, so I definitely plan to start one of those. Maybe I'll just wait until Mimitchi and the twins leave before starting something else. It is nice to have a smaller number going. In other news, I only have three more West Side performances (yay). I'll be happy when it's over. It has been a huge time commitment. I think I'll be spending the weekend practicing, making reeds, and finishing up my applications. It should be a nice productive weekend.
