I have been collecting since the Connection tamas came out. I was not allowed to get one when the original tama came out since I was little and my parents were not fond of electronic toys. The only thing I was able to get was the candy case and so I pretended I had one at the time.

I still remember my first Tamagotchi. It was either a version 1 or 2 connection, purple with purple circles all over it. It was a usual shopping night that we went out and I had got to go to the toy aisle. It was like a whole wall filled with these little colorful pets in their chunky clear packaging. I choose my little friend and remember while walking through the rest of the store I kept looking at the packaging and turning it over and over again. Little did I know it was going to spark a long term love. I took my little friend all over and later in my life my friends and family around me grew accustomed to the beeping of my tama.

I have played with them off and on and have still been collecting to my best of at least one of each version.
Currently I have been truly enjoying my Tamagotchi Pix and Tamagotchi Smart!
