what has happened over the years

my life is now full of dread

as I kneel and lower my head.

my mood is no longer happy

for this world has let me down

I no longer have a smile and now I have a frown

The world is being torn apart

along with everybodies heart

so now I sit here crying wiping away my tears

wondering what has happened over all these years.
