The theif grabs for the money and in the process of ripping the money out of her hand, he breaks two of her fingers. She quickly grabs the money back and by that time, many people have come to subdue the theif and both go to the police station to state their problem. The police officer questioning them asks the woman if she is hurt. She replies that two of her fingers are broken. The police officer finds it strange that a woman would risk her life and broken two of her fingers just for 8 yuan. As the poor woman is dismissed, the police officer follows her to see what she does with her money. He finds her buying fruit at a local market.
