Before I start: This has nothing to do with the cats and dogs and stuff.

So people are in the main centre walking around, but tamagotchi characters are following them:

See those people with no name? See how they are always directly behind someone?? Is this some new pet thing?

If you log in with another character in Music City when you're logged in one character already, that another character follows you.

That's why there's "pet characters"

 
It's basically your other self. You can log in 3 difference codes, it can be of the different character, but needs to be different codes. And each code you enter will add a pet behind you. The maximum you can have is 2 more people following behind you. You can have none, or one, or two, but not more than that. IT's kinda cool.
